Summit Plastics Inc.
Summit Plastics is located on Highway 51 just south of Robb Street. We moved to our current location in 1978 and employ over 125 people. On campus consists of 5 buildings with the newest addition completed last year to allow for an expansion with the potential of 3-4 more extrusion lines. Our operation consists of 14 blown film extrusion lines that produce custom films and sheet products for our customers. There is an on-site plastic recycling center which converts our scrap back into useful pellets to then be used back into the manufacturing process, therefore reducing waste. We operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 360 days per year shutting down for plant cleanings in the summer and again around the December holidays. We are a family-centric business, who value our employees and their families. We have picnics, Breakfast with Santa, birthday gifts, an employee loan program, and operate an on-site health care clinic for our employees and their families.
